Walvis Bay Stevedoring (Pty) Ltd, an equal opportunity employer, is looking for a suitably qualified Administrative Assistant to join its ranks as soon as possible.
PRIMARY PURPOSE
To manage the front desk, provide administration support to administration and operations team. Their duties facilitate a seamless flow of tasks throughout the organisation.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
- Reception: All reception duties, this includes but not limited to answering of the telephone, taking of minutes during meetings, receiving guests. Handling & distributions of mails both incoming & outgoing.
- Administration: Any other general office duties, for example filing, attending to stationary needs of staff members.
- Debtors: Create purchase orders (job related), daily invoicing of jobs, update costing to create proforma invoices, attend to queries received from customers, follow up on payments, liaise payments received from customers with Debtor’s Supervisor.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- NQF Level Four (4) Qualification (Matric, Grade 12 or NSSCO).
- NQF Level Five (5) in relevant field will be an added advantage.
- At least 2 years administration or accounting or related experience.
- Knowledge in Acumatica.
- Fully computer literate: Microsoft Office.
