Rennies Consolidated, an equal opportunity employer, is seeking a suitably qualified Warehouse Clerk to join its dynamic team.
PRIMARY PURPOSE
To maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment by ensuring accurate data capturing, stock control, supplier coordination, client communication, and compliance with operational procedures and SHEQ standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
Administration:
- Capturing receipts, orders, picks and releases on the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Drawing reports and stock counts on WMS.
- Performing stock adjustments, and additional services on WMS.
- Request quotation from suppliers and Purchase Orders.
- Maintaining collaboration and communication between operation and internal clients e.g Human Resource, Finance, Administration.
- Support Bond administration team with queries and verifications.
- Compiling month-end statistics.
Operation:
- Coordinate the receiving, storing and dispatching stock.
- Taking direct inventory, keeping track of inventory, and reporting inconsistencies.
- Co-ordinate data-base update, weekly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) provision and review subordinates performance.
- Ensure that all bonded cargo received and released has correct documentation.
- Ensure that Standard Operations Procedure is followed for each commodity.
- Update clients on their stock.
Invoicing:
- Preparation of files for invoicing and request for purchase orders of operational required goods.
- Review invoices received from third parties and send to admin for processing.
- Coordinate with Administration on files to be invoiced to ensure charges are as agreed with clients.
Compliance:
- Ensure SHEQ compliance on site.
- Raise Non-conformances.
- Investigate non-conformances and action corrective action.
- Other related duties.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- NQF Level Four (4) Qualification (Matric, Grade 12 or NSSCO).
- 3 years experience in warehouse operations, stock control, or inventory management.
- Knowledge in logistics and supply chain is essential.
- Knowledge of WMS or ERP software.
- Computer literate: Microsoft Office.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- NQF Level Five (5) Certificate or NQF Level Six (6) Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Warehouse Management will be an added advantage.
