Walvis Bay Airport Services, a proud division of Manica Group Namibia (Pty) Ltd, is where equal opportunity meets dynamic operations. Located in the bustling coastal hub of Walvis Bay, we are excited to invite two (2) skilled Customer Support Agents to join our energetic team immediately on a fixed-term contract (FTC).

PRIMARY PURPOSE
The purpose of the position is to ensure professional handling of passengers and their baggage for the arrival and departing flights and to assist with passenger enquiries.                                                                                   

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

Check-ins     

  • Responsible for preflight checks.
  • Responsible for passengers' safety on apron (Escorting Special assistance passengers to and from the aircraft).

Customer service

  • Responsible for dealing with passenger enquiries.
  • Assisting passengers with delays and luggage.
  • Responsibilities must be carried out in accordance with Company Standards as laid out in the manuals of procedure, and Occupational Health and Safety Standards.
  • Will assist with any additional tasks within the context of the job description.            

Safety & Compliance

  • Responsible for the OHS in their area of responsibility and accountability reporting into this role.
  • Accountable for aviation safety and security in their area of responsibility and accountability.

Administration

  • Assist the supervisor with clerical duties when required as well as Invoicing.                                                                        

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • NQF Level Four (4) Qualification (Matric, Grade 12 or NSSCO.      
  • At least minimum two valid certificates in the following: Dangerous Goods Handling, Ramp // Baggage Handling, Passenger Handling, Customer Management, Aviation Security (AVSEC), Local Emergency Response Plan (LERAP), Passenger Assistance & Disability Information (PADI), Safety Performance Indicators (SPI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Human Factor, Human Trafficking.                
  • Sound Knowledge of MS Office 
  • Two (2) Year Basic Aviation experience.                                                            
  • Valid Driving License.

ADDED ADVANTAGES

  • Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Traveling and Tourism.
  • 5 Year working experience as a CSA // PHA.
  • 5 Year working experience within the industry.
  • Customer Management (Amadeus).
  • Exposure in Acumatica.
