Primary Purpose: 
To facilitate the purchasing of materials and services at the best value, ensuring good quality and cost-effectiveness, while adhering to MGN’s policies and procedures.

Key Performance Areas:
Supplier Sourcing and Vendor Administration:

• Identify and evaluate suppliers to obtain competitive quotes and ensure timely delivery.
• Negotiate price, payment terms, and discounts.
• Create and maintain vendor applications and update the Vendor Master.
• Monitor vendor performance and resolve performance issues.
• Review market reports and develop sourcing alternatives to mitigate risk

Procurement Operations and Compliance:

• Analyze and evaluate Purchase Requisitions to meet MGN requirements.
• Create and send Purchase Orders, confirm receipt, and manage outstanding orders.
• Obtain invoices, reconcile to Purchase Orders, and forward to Finance.
• Ensure policy and procedure adherence and identify/document non-conformances.
• Goods receive invoices upon approval and ensure compliance with MGN standards.

Stakeholder Engagement and Service Delivery:

• Forward quotations to departments for approval and collaborate with end-users.
• Provide excellent service to stakeholders by addressing procurement needs effectively.
• Communicate with vendors to clarify and resolve procurement issues.
• Collaborate with departments to align procurement activities with organizational goals.

Job Requirements:

• NQF Level Seven (7) Qualification - Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain or related fields.
• Three (3) years’ work experience in Procurement
• Working experience in Logistics industry will be an added advantage.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of ERP System (Acumatica)
• Valid Code BE Driver’s license
