Primary Purpose:
To co-create reward strategies, lead the remuneration team, and provide implementation oversight while leveraging data-informed decisions and digital transformation to ensure competitive, compliant, and future-ready pay structures, alongside payroll oversight for accuracy and governance.

Payroll Oversight and Compliance
- Ensure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with tax and labour regulations.
- Establish and maintain payroll governance controls to prevent errors and fraud.
- Collaborate with relevant parties to resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
- Oversee integration of payroll systems with HRIS for seamless data flow.
- Collaborate with leadership to co-create remuneration and reward strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Provide implementation oversight to ensure adherence to governance and compliance standards.
- Develop guidelines and frameworks for salary structures, incentives, and benefits.
- Monitor effectiveness of reward programs and recommend improvements based on organizational needs.
- Analyze market data and internal metrics to inform remuneration decisions.
- Implement digital tools and systems to enhance reward processes and payroll efficiency.
- Drive automation initiatives for salary reviews and incentive calculations.
- Prepare data-driven reports for leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead, coach, and develop the remuneration team to deliver high-quality outputs.
- Partner with key stakeholders on reward-related matters.
- Communicate remuneration policies and processes clearly to employees and managers.
- Represent the organization in external salary surveys and benchmarking forums.
- NQF Level Seven (7) – Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration or Finance or Accounting or Economics OR
- NQF Level Four (4) or Five (5) with Professional Certificates in Remuneration, provided work experience exceeds eight (8) years strictly in payroll administration with extensive experience in payroll compliance and oversight and exposure to senior level business reporting
- Eight (8) years' work experience, with a minimum of five (5) within Remuneration Department and a minimum of two (2) at supervisory level
- Advanced Skills in Microsoft Excel
- Advanced Proficiency in a Namibian recognised Remuneration (Payroll) System
